'There is a drone above your house' / Teddy Griffith

Teddy Griffith is an emerging artist studying a Bachelor of Fine Arts at the VCA, Melbourne. His practice consists of digital and multi-media collage, photography and text that explores the tools of advertising and the relationships between people, corporate/media imagery and ideologies within late capitalism.

This series of work deals with a popular balm for the paranoia provoked by the shadowy mechanisms of contemporary life- conspiracy theories.

A statement from the artist:

Conspiracies are funny- maybe some are real. I made a series of three works within this format. This one took the longest and is by far the shortest.

They would be installed like paintings, at an eye level of 156cm.
