We spoke to the lead actress lead actress Tasia Zalar, these are her words.

“I don’t have anything in particular to say about myself. I just let my work speak for itself and try to tell the story to my best. ‘Bluey’ was written by Darlene Johnson and the character I play was inspired by Darlene’s mother’s fiery personality. Also, I think this was the last short film that was filmed in the old Tony Mundine boxing gym. They are building a new one closer to the Redfurn station and putting aboriginal housing in it’s place.”
